Thread Embroidery

Katan silk worked with fine thread embroidery — trailing leaves, heart buttis or a full floral jaal — finished with a striped pallu and tassels. Fast colours, with a 1 m blouse piece.

Our embroidery sarees are Katan silk worked all over with fine thread embroidery — trailing leaves, little heart buttis or a dense floral jaal — finished with a striped pallu and tassels. Each comes with a 1 m blouse piece, the colours are fast, and prices run ₹4,399 to ₹4,899 with free delivery across India.

What thread embroidery on Katan silk looks like

Up close, the embroidery sits slightly raised on the smooth Katan base, so the motifs catch the light as you move. It is lighter than heavy zardozi or stone work, which makes these sarees easy to wear for a whole function.

Three styles

  • Leaf trails — contrast-thread leaves across lilac, blush and steel blue Katan.
  • Heart butti and fern — small scattered motifs on ivory-and-red or rani pink.
  • Floral jaal — a dense all-over pattern in crimson, khaki, sky blue and turmeric yellow.

Day function to evening

Light enough for a haldi or mehendi, rich enough for a sangeet — and a thoughtful gift for her.

₹4,399, ₹4,699, ₹4,899: what changes

The price follows the density of the embroidery: scattered leaves and buttis at ₹4,399, the all-over floral jaal at ₹4,699, and the leaf-embroidery pieces shown on a model at ₹4,899.

Blouse piece, fast colours and care

Every piece has a 1 m blouse piece and fast colours. Dry clean only, and never iron directly on the embroidery — see saree care. More fabric options in Katan silk sarees.
