Privacy Notice
This notice explains, in plain words, what personal data Apsara Attire collects through this website, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we are
Apsara Attire (proprietor: Ronit Kumar) runs apsaraattire.com and decides how your data is used. Contact: apsaraattireofficial@gmail.com · +91 85442 03804. Address: available on request.
What we collect and why
- Order details — first and last name, WhatsApp number, email (if you give it), delivery address, pincode and any order note. Used to confirm your order on WhatsApp, deliver it free across India, handle cancellation within 24 hours and answer questions about it.
- Enquiry details — name, WhatsApp number, occasion and message from the contact form. Used to reply to you and suggest sarees.
- Button taps — when you tap WhatsApp, Call or Email we note the page, device type, browser, time and a shortened IP address (the last part is removed, so it shows a city at most). Used to see which pages bring enquiries and to alert us so we can reply quickly.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, only if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner. Used to count visits and improve the site. You can change your choice any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
- Account details — only if you choose to create an account: login and order history.
We do not collect card or bank details. There is no online payment on this site.
Who we share it with
- The courier receives your name, phone number and address, only to deliver your parcel.
- WhatsApp (Meta) carries our chats with you.
- Our web host stores this website and its data.
- Google provides Analytics (only with your consent) and Search Console.
Some of these companies may store data outside India. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Orders: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Enquiries that did not lead to an order: up to 12 months.
- Button-tap records: about 13 months, then deleted automatically.
- Website logs and records of how data was processed: at least one year, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 require, then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a summary of the data we hold about you; ask us to correct, update or delete it; withdraw your consent at any time — it is as easy as giving it: send “DELETE” to us on WhatsApp, email apsaraattireofficial@gmail.com, or use “Cookie settings” in the footer; and nominate someone to act for you if you die or cannot act yourself. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before it. We confirm requests from the same WhatsApp number or email the data belongs to.
Children
This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we find that we have, we delete it.
Security
The site runs on HTTPS, access to orders and enquiries is limited to the owner, and backups are kept. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you without delay (what happened, what it means for you and what we are doing about it) and report it to the Data Protection Board of India within 72 hours, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 require.
